  2. What kind of causes can I support?

    You can choose from a wide variety of causes, including:
    1. Education
    2. Disaster relief
    3. Health and wellness
    4. Women’s empowerment
    5. Environmental conservation

  3. Is my donation tax deductible?

    No, your donation will not be tax deductible.

  4. Will I receive a donation receipt?

    Yes. You’ll receive an email confirmation summarizing:
    1. The organization(s) you donated to
    2. The amount donated (in points or currency)
    3. A note that no goods/services were provided in return for your donation
    4. This receipt will come from Xoxoday on behalf of GlobalGiving.

  5. When does my donation reach the nonprofit?

    Donations are typically disbursed to nonprofits around the 25th of the month after your donation is processed and reported. For example, donations made in January are sent to nonprofits in late February.

  6. Can I support disaster relief efforts?

    Yes! In the event of major disasters (like earthquakes, floods, or humanitarian crises), GlobalGiving quickly launches special relief funds that you can support. These are featured on the platform within 24 hours of a major disaster.

  7. Will my personal data be protected?

    Yes. Both Xoxoday and GlobalGiving are compliant with international data privacy laws like GDPR. Your data will only be used for the purposes of processing your donation and sharing receipts or support information.
